![Injection molding](../../../../wp-content/themes/plast/assets/imgs/technology/facilities/img02.jpg)
This process is the basis of our resin molding. In addition to thin-wall and high-cycle molding, we have developed the resin itself and related equipment to create valuable products. Our overseas bases also have large molding machines, and with the exception of Vietnam, all of our bases are capable of injection molding production (over 2,000 tons can be produced in Japan, North America, and Thailand).
Special molding includes insert molding, in which metal or plastic film is inserted, as well as thin-wall injection molding of fender protectors with a thickness of 1 mm.
Global holdings: 318 units
![RIM molding](../../../../wp-content/themes/plast/assets/imgs/technology/facilities/img03.jpg)
This is a molding technology for soft urethane used in relatively large products such as steering wheels and instrument panel components, etc. It is a process of mixing and reacting two liquids to solidify them, using an original material developed by the Nihon Plast. Production is available in Japan, U.S.A., Mexico, China, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
Global holdings: 72 presses
![Blow molding](../../../../wp-content/themes/plast/assets/imgs/technology/facilities/img04.jpg)
We apply our products to ducts, tanks, and other hollow-shaped functional parts. We are working on the development of large ducts for automobiles and contributing to the reduction of the number of parts by integrating multiple parts and molding them into a single unit. Production is possible at the Isesaki and Kyushu plants.
Global holdings: 11 units
![Magnesium die casting](../../../../wp-content/themes/plast/assets/imgs/technology/facilities/img05.jpg)
It is used for parts that require strength, such as steering wheel cores. It also contributes to weight reduction of automobiles. Production is available in Japan, U.S.A., Mexico, China, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Global holdings: 17 units
![Decorative processing](../../../../wp-content/themes/plast/assets/imgs/technology/facilities/img06.jpg)
High-texture decoration is a product in which a surface skin is wrapped around a base material and uses leather-wrapping technology for steering wheels. Production is available in Japan, Mexico, China, Thailand, and Indonesia.
![Vibration welding](../../../../wp-content/themes/plast/assets/imgs/technology/facilities/img07.jpg)
By vibrating the parts horizontally, the frictional heat generated can be used to weld and fasten two parts together. No screws are required and it is suitable for the assembly of large products (e.g., INST UPR) and specially shaped parts (e.g., G/Box). Production is available in Japan, U.S.A., Mexico, China, and Thailand.
Global holdings: 15 units
![Leather-wrapped steering wheels](../../../../wp-content/themes/plast/assets/imgs/technology/facilities/img08.jpg)
Leather-wrapped steering wheels, which drivers directly touch, are carefully sewn one by one by skilled craftspeople. Production is available in Mexico, China, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
![Bag sewing](../../../../wp-content/themes/plast/assets/imgs/technology/facilities/img09.jpg)
The latest sewing technology and a unique quality control system ensure consistent quality and high reliability. Production is available in Mexico, China, and Indonesia.
![High reflective coating](../../../../wp-content/themes/plast/assets/imgs/technology/facilities/img10.jpg)
Using state-of-the-art technology such as robots, our clean coating facilities dedicated to plastic parts and advanced coating techniques enable us to achieve high image clarity for interior and exterior automotive parts. Production is available in Japan, the U.S.A., and Mexico. General coating can be produced at the above bases as well as in China and Thailand.
![Assembly](../../../../wp-content/themes/plast/assets/imgs/technology/facilities/img11.jpg)
We are also working on factory automation for the future by installing the latest equipment and adopting assembly methods that meet the needs of the times.
![Automatic insertion](../../../../wp-content/themes/plast/assets/imgs/technology/facilities/img12.jpg)
![Automatic ejection](../../../../wp-content/themes/plast/assets/imgs/technology/facilities/img13.jpg)
![Automated Conveyor Systems](../../../../wp-content/themes/plast/assets/imgs/technology/facilities/img14.jpg)
Various types of automation have been incorporated in all our plants in consideration of work efficiency, productivity, worker load, and work safety.
